Duties and responsibilities:  Clinical psychiatrists are responsible for analyzing a patient’s mental health status and providing the necessary treatment. They may admit patients to hospitals, order tests, prescribe medication or recommend therapy.

Salary: $100,387 - $248,364

Education:

• Doctor of medicine degree M.D
• Four years of residency training
• A state-issued license is required
